Dear EMGS,

Now that existing international students are allowed to comeback, what about us the new ones? If we aren’t allowed to enter in the first place, why did you let the university accepted our payments and registrations instead of rejecting us. It is better for us to get yes or no answer so we can plan what’s the next steps eventhough it’s already late to enroll to other country. I respect your government policies but alot of us here are at risks as well. My course will start in 2nd week of October and I am sure others will start soon or even sooner. I hope to get answers soon. Thanks.

  Please note that the decision to submit an application is solely at the discretion of the institutions and the applicants. Kindly note that institutions are offering online classes since new students are unable to travel to Malaysia. In order to enroll for the online classes, the students are required to obtain an EMGS approval letter. The EMGS approval letter can only be obtained if there is an application and the application has been vetted and supported.
  
  We are waiting for confirmation from the Immigration Department with regard to the entry for new international students. We will notify institutions and students once we have an update.
