Dear Sir/Madam,
Should it be more than 18 months of passport validity to renew my student pass which is renewable annually?
If I renew my passport in my country China, but the student pass doesn’t expire, can I enter Malaysia by using two passport?(The new one and the old one)?
If cannot, what should I do to enter Malaysia?

  Hi Zing Wong,
  
  For renewal applications, recommended passport validity
  duration is 12 months from the date of application. In the event, that you renewed your passport in your home country, you are required to bring along your old passport together when you travel to Malaysia. Once you entered Malaysia, you are required to liaise with your Institution to transfer the student pass from the old passport to the new passport.
