Once your status changes to passport ready for collection by your institution, you may liaise with your institution and request them to collect it from EMGS.

Hi Zakaria,
The Student Pass endorsement process takes 14 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

Hi Zakaria,
There is no specific time-frame for the passport to be available for collection, from the date the Student Pass is issued. We will notify your institution once the passport is ready for collection.

They gave new students the ‘ emgs approval letter’ to tie them to Malaysia and it’s not even guaranteed that your visa will be approved in the end. Smart tactic by them
