I have the same issue but since there were multiple public holidays and weekend holidays, it’s highly unlikely to get the eVal anytime this week.

Hi,

I am still waiting for the update on my sister’s application. It’s been almost 5-6 days since it has turned 15% and haven’t got any update. Any hope? She’s planning to travel by 23rd as her uni starts by then:

Initially, there was an issue by EMGS saying that her pictures in the passport don’t match with the one that was submitted in the application. Hi Zaid,

Please be informed that the passport has been submitted to the Immigration Department of Malaysia on the 26th of November 2021. The issuance of the student pass takes approximately 14 working days. However, the approval is entirely at the discretion of the Immigration Department of Malaysia.

  for student and dependant dont use E-visa you need to apply stamp/sticker visa from the embassy directly
