      Hi Yuhong Li,

      We are sorry to hear about the rejection of your application. Please be informed that you are required to liaise with your institution in order to obtain the VAL rejection reason. Upon receipt of the reason, your institution can submit an appeal for your VAL application. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
