Am really worried my visa for my third year and final year will be rejected, because my attendance is 79%
It’s a big disappointment for students to go back with out a degree and have all the money watered for nathing. And my uni said this months the immigrations is really strict when issueing visas .

Hi,
International students are required to meet the required class attendance of 80%, in order to renew their student passes. The approval to renew the Student Passes is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

Thank for your response EMGS officer, however does it require me to leave the country while I am waiting for the procession of a val, and does the EMGS look down upon such shifts in ones decions so much so that they may not accept to issuing of a new visa under a new university,

Since you are in the midst of renewing your Student Pass you can remain in Malaysia. However, if the Immigration Department requests for an exit stamp you will be required to exit the country. Kindly note that the decision to issue you with the VAL is entirely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

Hi Wena,
You are required to obtain an offer from the new institution first. Once you have received the offer, you need to liaise with your current institution to cancel your Student Pass. Upon cancellation of the Student Pass, the new institution will submit an application for you. The processing fee is applicable.
