Yes you can but you have to get approval for HQ , check the requirements for it , and usually they approved within 5 or 6 working days ..

Anjali quarantine starts from the same day, no non of your friends or relatives can drop a sim at the hotel lobby. They’ll straight pick you up from the airport and you’ll driven to a hotel for quarantine. Your food will be given outside your doorstep. You won’t have no contact with whom you know for 7 to 10 days.

You can use wechat, WhatsApp or other social media platforms to stay connected with your friends or family.

So how do you get a local malaysian sim? I wanted my friend to drop it at the lobby for my use? Is there a facility at the airport?

There are nearby shops around the airport to buy sims, one of my college friend tried to buy a local sim from the airport but she wasn’t able to.

If you don’t mind additional charges on your phone, you can buy a roaming sim.

There is a Digi counter just after the shuttle bus and before you go into the line for the COVID test/verification. A friend of mine just told me. You’ll be able to find a sim there.

Hey mahmoud, no you can’t order food from outside but you can order room service. That’ll cause you additional charges.

Hello Anjali, we will get sim only after completing quarentine and we can still use the sim from home country for whatsapp,imo, notim etc, Airport and quarentine centre has wifi so u could contact or msg ur parents or guardian through that. are u a indian? I am Noora Shereef from kerala India.

Hi Anjali, I actually got my eval and I am trying to apply for SEV from Singapore but the high commission is not replying to my emails or picking up their phone.

Hello @EMGSOfficer, I am an Indian passport holder living in Singapore. My eVAL progress is at 32%. After I get my eVAL and travel authorisation, I will need to apply for an SEV. But i have no direction on how to do so. I have also emailed the Malaysian Mission at Singapore and haven’t received any reply. Kindly guide me in this…[Read more]-
After getting eval and authority letter you can walk to nearest malaysian embassy for sev with related documents as passport, sev payment and your picture..
Hopefully they will entertain your application-
I shall try this. I have emailed them and no reply. I called malaysia mission and they said that I need a travel pass. Its all soo confusing.

Hi Anjali,
Once you have obtained your eVal, you can either contact or directly walk in to the Embassy to apply for your SEV. They will advise you on the required documents.

No one is replying to our emails it’s been over a week and secondly they aren’t allowing walk ins. Is it possible for EMGS to reach out to the embassy on behalf of myself and Anjali?

Yes, but they need vaccination certificate. And chances are higher for approval if you’re the sole person residing in the house
