So for 7 days quarantine, how much should students pay?

1550 MYR for quarantine and 2 COVID tests on the My Safe Travel website. You’ll need to upload your vaccination certificate as well. These charges are for the basic government package.

1) is it true that the 2600 MYR Operation Cost is being removed by November 15? If yes, what is the source of this information?

I also study at USM. According to the travel authorisation, the only permitted terminal of arrival is Kuala Lumpur Airport. Unfortunately we have to go there and stay at the designated hotel for seven days before we get discharged to go to Penang.

There are specific hotels in Kuala Lumpur for the quarantine. I will choose Ibis hotel because it has wifi. It is expensive though. You will need to book the hotel from here https://safetravel.myeg.com.my/

EMGS emailed me that international students have to go through the 14 day quarantine procedure from the government, so I am confused!
