Dear EMGS,

My passport number is MI250544, and my application number is #########. I urgently need your assistance. I missed my August intake, and I really do not want to miss the January 2026 intake again.
I reached 70% progress in mid-October, but I had to change my Visa Insurance Country. I emailed EMGS on the same day to request the change, but I am still waiting for an update until now.
As the intake gets closer, I am very worried that I might miss the January intake. It has been over five months since I applied for the student visa on 11 June 2025. Could you please help me with this?

  We understand your concerns regarding the upcoming January 2026 intake and the delay in processing your application. However, your application is currently pending approval with the Immigration Department for the VAL amendment application. There is no exact timeframe for the VAL amendment process, and the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
