Hello immigration officer.
My name is: Tha’er Abdelbaset Altakhaina. Passport number: P461011
I registered in Malaysia as a student since 2019, where I lived there for 8 months and have not returned to Malaysia yet. Do I need to obtain a new visa, and if I need to obtain a visa, how long does it take to complete the procedures for obtaining a new visa?

  Hi,
  
  Kindly be informed that if your student pass has expired more than 3 months, you will be required to apply a new application and obtain a new Visa Approval Letter (eVAL). Kindly note that the processing of a VAL application takes approximately 14 working days from the date we receive the complete documents and payment. However, there is no stipulated time frame for the VAL approval, and the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
