Hi, im currently outside of malaysia but i have already started the process of visa renewal and is now at 90%. I only need to get back to submit the passport but with the costs of quarantining and everything, i wont be able to get back to Malaysia now.
How long do I have after the visa expiration date to still continue with the renewal process? Is it 2 or 3 months? My visa will expire on 10 September.

  Normally the Immigration Department will only allow you to renew the Student Pass if you return within 3 months of your pass expiry. However, due to the current situation, the Immigration Department has not put a specific period for applicants to return after their Student Pass expiry. Kindly note that the approval to renew the Student Pass is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
