Hey, same situation here, I also took admission in UM for March intake and I have received my eval. I am also confused about when to plan my arrival to malaysia. I have sent emails to the uni and I didn’t get any exact reply

No they don’t provide, however you better buy sim card in airport and download taxi grab app, very safe and cheapest as the airport is one hour away from KL center

Btw regarding the medical check up, do we need to pay again? Bcs in my VAL application , we already paid it. And after we arrived at Malaysia, will we staying at the dorm or we need to book hotel first?

No need to pay or to bring any paper, just keep passport with you and they will need the app to scan the code.
Results will go automatically to emgs no need to get any paper, only a small slip to university when you submit passport (submit after medical don’t wait for any email or instructions it won’t come)

I still havent apply the VAL yet. The UM Visa Unit ask me to go there as I was born and raised in Malaysia.

When the date your intake? March 2023?
About VAL depends on your documents (Offer letter, registration date, intake, etc), everyone has different situation we can not make it general for Indonesian students. So, if your intake March 2023, as soon as possible you apply for eVAL and SEV because there are many issues if did not meet the requirement.

Yeah, you are welcome. I think if you apply at least next week and you check it the progres continously, then if you get the information about additional documents you can call Visa departemen in UM, about Photo you must check it in detail and submite same as the requirement, because it Will be the issues too.

For Indonesian if there is no issues of documents it’s take around 1,5 month, but if there are some issues sometimes around 2 months or more than that.

some people are different in processing it, but the fastest is only 2 weeks and the longest can be 3 months maybe some are even longer.
