hi, EMGS I would like to ask, how is the procedure to extend student visa if we don’t stay in Malaysia? Can we do it through Malaysia embassy in our home country? The student visa itself will be expired on upcoming Oct. Looking forward for the answer. Thanks. View

I see, but the current condition is that I’m in Indonesia, and regarding to MCO in Malaysia, I cannot enter Malaysia even using student visa, while I would like to process it faster to avoid special pass fee. Is there any solution to this matter?

@syifa_2 At present, international students are not allowed entry into Malaysia. As such, you are required to wait until the travel ban is lifted. In the meantime, you can drop us an email at enquiry(at)emgs.com.my with your details. This will enable us to check your application status.

      Hi Syifa,

The Student Pass renewal can only be done in Malaysia. Kindly note that your institution can submit the renewal application for processing. Your passport will be submitted for the Student Pass endorsement upon your arrival in Malaysia. However, the approval to issue the Student Pass is solely at the discretion of the Immigration…[Read more]

    Hi, EMGS

I would like to get my original copy of senate approval letter and original copy of transcript. I got email from UM that I could receive the original copy by June 2020 at the university.

@syifa_2 In that case, you are required to refer to the Malaysian Embassy in your home country for further details on the visa application procedure.

hi, I would like to ask, I’ve finished my master degree from Malaysia and I already did exit visa for my student visa. I’m currently not in Malaysia, and I would like to come to Malaysia using tourist visa for university purpose. Is that possible? And how is the procedure for that? Thanks.

    Hi, EMGS

is it possible if I leave Malaysia without cancelling the Visa, and then after the expiry date I come back again to cancel it?

So, let’s say my student Visa expired on Feb 15th, I go to my hometown on Feb 14th, then I come back to Malaysia using tourist visa on Feb 20th and stay for 3 weeks to cancel my visa.

    Is that possible?

    Hi, EMGS

I’d like to ask about student visa. If my study finished by this month and then I just go back to my hometown without cancel my visa, what happen next if I’d like to apply new visa to stay in Malaysia?

Probably you should have made a check out memo to return to your own country before leaving. So, it depends if you have been blocked or not, since this might happen if you left directly.

I guess its a requirement for u to cancel out your existing visa prior to your leaving. Hence you may face difficulty applying for any other visas in Malaysia in the future because your previous visa still active in the system. Unless u dont plan on continuing study here or working here then u would b ok i guess. But if u are i suppose u have to…[Read more]

Leaving without cancellation of your student pass/visa will terminate the personal bond and you’ll be having difficulties applying again for anything again in malaysia

      Hi Syifa,

You are required to cancel the visa before exiting Malaysia. If the current visa is not cancelled, any new visa applications will be rejected due to an existing visa linked to your passport number.

      Have a nice day.

yes you can download, but you can’t enter Malaysia yet. You need to go to Malaysian Embassy in your country to process the SEV.. it takes 3 days in my country. You’ll enter Malaysia once the passport got student visa sticker and the progress already 80%. The rest progress would be done in Malaysia. Which country are you from?
