I don’t know about your university, but the university only ask us to inform before coming, it doesn’t mean they will pick up. As for the airport, I entered without issues because papers are complete.

Is it obligatory for you to be received by university?
Most people go by their own -
For Airport clearance need somebody from collage right?

I don’t know about your university, but the university only ask us to inform before coming, it doesn’t mean they will pick up. As for the airport, I entered without issues because papers are complete.

as i know before i take flight, i have to confirm that Institute/college. for immigration clearances someone need to be at airport release.

i’m a ukm student, my institution told me to inform about my flight but they won’t meet or pick me up at the airport, so they told me to go straight to my accommodation after i arrived

but once you arrive you need to go to the ISAC counter for guidance before you head to immigration

Kindly note that Education Institutions is recommended to present at airport to pick up their international students. As such, kindly contact your Institution in order to inform on your arrival information. Kindly ensure to enter Malaysia with a valid Visa Approval Letter (VAL) and Single Entry Visa (SEV).
