Wait, your student pass expired from 8 January? good luck with that because immigration only let student that have expired student from February 2020 not January 2020 and it’s imposible to entry bcoz it stated on the requirement of Travel Authorization

Please note that the travel authorization has no validity. However, the decision to issue you an entry permit is solely at the discretion of the Malaysian Mission.

Which safety? There’s covid 19 everywhere some places have worse cases than Malaysia. Life has to go on. Some international students are 6-9 hours behind the Malaysian timezone which makes online class hard. Imagine attending a class at 2am. They should be thinking about everyone

Bulletin on EMGS was released on 21st Dec, 2020 while the directives given by the Senior minister was said on 22nd December. So, one supersedes another

As my visa renewal is at 50% and as per my knowledge it remains at 50% if we dont submit passport for renewal at our university and it remains at 50% for 90 days and my 90 days will be finished somewhere around January 2021 but as there ban on my country and Pakistani students can not come to Malaysia so may i know what will happen to my visa will…[Read more]

Please note that due to the pandemic, the Immigration Department is allowing students to renew their student pass from the 01st of February 2020 onwards. We understand that Pakistan is in the list of banned countries. We will update students if there are any changes on this matter.

Yeah they are allowing to renew but it stucks at 50% adn we can only complete the renewal application once we submit the passport to university and we cannot do it as Pakistan not allowed to come to Malaysia yet… So what will happen to pur visa if we are not allowed even after 31st dec? Will we be allowed to come to Malaysia on expired visa?

Please note that once the travel ban has been lifted and if the student pass has expired, students from visa-required countries are required to proceed to the Malaysian Embassy and apply for a Social Visa. Almost everyone here think that its EMGS who is not issuing us the VISA. Please google it that EMGS is not supposed to do it at all. They are simply following the instructions and rules, whatever strange they are.
