Dear sir/madam:
According to the following information, can I return home with my expired visa on July 28 without applying for a student visa? Prime Minister moyudin of Malaysia delivered a special speech on live television today, announcing the conversion of the conditional action control order (pkpb) which ended on June 9 to the recovery management order (pkpp), starting from June 10 and ending on August 31. Under the “resuscitative management order”, people are allowed to cross state and ensure that more areas return to work in accordance with standard operating procedures.

  Hi Siyu,
  
  The point you mentioned is in reference to local states (e.g. Penang, Kedah, Johor Bahru, etc). If your current pass expired during any of the phases of the movement control order, you can return to your home country without applying for a Special Pass. However, you are required to possess a valid passport
  
  Please note that Standard Operating Procedures of Immigration screening will still take place as usual during departure at the airports, and you will also be subjected to the existing rules and regulations imposed by the Immigration Authorities in your home country.
