Hi, Does anyone know the process to convert Dependent Pass under Employment Pass to under Student Pass?

I need to move my daughter’s pass to under my Student Pass.
Does she need to exit the country for this?
Any advice?

BTW we both are Indian national. We both are currently in Malaysia.

  Hi Sindhu,
  
  You are required to liaise with the respective company her current pass is attached to, and request that they shorten the pass. Upon cancellation, your institution may proceed to submit the Dependent Pass application. The approval to allow your daughter to remain in Malaysia during the processing of her application is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
