Better to avoid traveling when your VAL is being processed. If you absolutely MUST visit, then just bear in mind that your application may be delayed because of it

Yeah, they will not issue your VAL until you stay in Malaysia.

From what I understand, your VAL application will be at a standstill until you exit Malaysia. You should send an email to EMGS enquiring about this.

Yeah, it’s fine. You don’t have to worry unless the percentage bar is either in yellow or red. If it’s in yelllw, then it means that your university or you have to submit additional documents to emgs. But if it’s in green colour, then everything will be processing fine.

@shakir. It took me three days to get to 80% from 35%. I got to 35% on Monday but today its 80%. My VAL has been sent to USM
You need to arrange and pay, then they will send it to you through DHL. Alternatively you can authorized someone to collect it from IMCC at USM and post it to you or send it via someone coming home
Do you collect your original admission letter? If not you should also request for it because you will be needing it.
