The processing of a VAL application takes 14 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. The application will only reach 100% after the endorsement of the Student Pass.

Once the application has been submitted to the Immigration Department, it will take 7-10 working days for the issuance of the VAL. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. Kindly note that the status of the application will change to 70% once the VAL has been approved.
