You have to book hotel for quarantine for 5 days or so . Another option is to rent a room or studio for your accommodation.

Bank statement is not needed when applying through evisa ( if student). Dont know about other visas

At 75%-80% status, they give you eval . Then have to apply for sev and then can enter malaysia

New student dont need to apply for tavel authorisation

Email uni that if they have submitted the documents to EMGS.
After submission of documents it normally take 3-5 days to resume the progress

What i know is.. if you doing home quarantine you have to submit rent contract or bills to show you are renting there. The proof is needed

But be careful with room facilities which mohammed abu risha has just mentioned.
I recommend video call will be better with the agent to show you the entire unit before finalising anything. If incase you cant view it in person.
