The VAL approval process takes approximately 7-10 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

From my experience, it took 14 working days if it is got no issues. You can track the progress on profile menu

It takes 14 working days to obtain the Visa Approval Letter (eVAL) starting from the day your documents are received and the payment is invoiced in the EMGS system. However, please note that the process may be delayed if there are discrepancies with your documents.

Hi Nahaj,
The SEV is issued by the Malaysian Embassy and not by EMGS. However, at present, new international students are not allowed entry into Malaysia until further notice.
