Hi Sali,
The Student Pass renewal process cannot be done at the Malaysian Embassy. You can only renew your Student Pass in Malaysia. In the event that your Student Pass expires whilst you are outside of Malaysia, the Malaysian Immigration Department will only allow you to renew your Student Pass if your current Student Pass expiry has not lapsed for more than 3 months. Please note that you will be required to enter Malaysia on a Social Visit Pass and subsequently obtain the renewed Student Pass.

Thank you so much for the information, means i can enter malaysia even when my visa finishes in the period of three months after my visa’s expiry. (E.g : expiry’s month july, i can enter till before september ).
@sali_1 That’s correct. However, you need to refer to the Malaysian Embassy in Indonesia to apply for a Tourist Visa when your Student Pass expires whilst you are outside Malaysia.

I have contacted the Malaysian embassy in jakarta , they told me that i must have a long term stay in indonesia to be eligible to apply for visa, in case my student passe expired .
