Please note that if the Student Pass expired during the movement control order (MCO) you can still exit without applying for a Special Pass. However, you are required to be holding a valid passport. Kindly note that Standard Operating Procedures of Immigration screening will still take place as usual during departure at the airports, and you will also be subjected to the existing rules and regulations imposed by the Immigration Authorities in your home country.
We advise that you refer to your nation’s Embassy in Malaysia or the governing authorities in your home country for details on the travel procedure for returning citizens.
They said that I’d be able to go back only when the international flights resume, which would mostly be end of July or August. So would I still be able to stay for that long without applying for anything? So I just collect my passport and wait for a flight to be available? Even if it’s gonna take a couple more months?
