saif_10 As-salamu alaikum. I’m Shafiullah and my passport no: BJ0900598
I have completed my Diploma on IT from Segi college and now I wanted to continue Degree at Segi university on IT. But I couldn’t apply as because I have 7months passport validity date. University said I must have at least 12 months to start new progression for degree. My visa already expired in this month 7th June-2020.
I already have applied for new passport in this first week on this month, June2020. But I will receive the passport late as Bangladesh Passport office open in this month because of Lockdown.
My question is, is it possible to get Visa on Current passport and can transfer the Visa sticker when I receive new passport later?
If not possible how can stay legally safe in Malaysia from immigration raid and police in this situation until I get Passport back?
I think it will take more than 1 month to get my new passport.
I pray and hope you would give me the best advice.

  Since you are progressing to a new course level and applying for a VAL, you are required to have a minimum passport validity of 12 months. As such, we will not be able to process your application with the current passport. You can refer to your institution to seek assistance to obtain any documents to support your verification. The approval to accept the verification letter is solely at the discretion of the Police or any authorities.
