Hi EMGS,

I would kindly like to follow up on my VAL appeal, which was submitted to Immigration on 3 August 2026 and has now been pending for approximately 18 working days (25 days in total).

I initially submitted my visa application in June 2026, so the visa process has now been ongoing for several months. I understand that EMGS has already highlighted my application to Immigration and requested expedited processing. May I kindly ask whether there has been any update or movement from Immigration since then, or whether my appeal is still pending with them?

My programme is scheduled to commence in September, and I am currently trying to arrange my flight and tuition payment, so I would greatly appreciate any update regarding the progress of my appeal.

  Your application for Visa Approval Letter (VAL) has been submitted to the Immigration Department on 3rd August 2026. We will highlight your application to request for expedite the application. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of Immigration. Rest assured, any update will be notify accordingly.
