Please note that the Immigration Department is not issuing VALs to new international students who are outside Malaysia. We will only be able to advise once we receive further instructions from the Immigration Department..

Never mind, but I noticed one thing about the misconception,
Almost everyone here think that its EMGS who is not issuing us the VISA. Please google it that EMGS is not supposed to do it at all. They are simply following the instructions and rules, whatever strange they are.

Emgs approval letter provided only for online classes who are outside of Malaysia. This letter not given by immigration department if you need to enter Malaysia you should get Eval and travel Authorization letter approved by immigration department

The EMGS Approval Letter is an assurance that EMGS has vetted the application and the student has met the minimum academic requirements needed to pursue their intended course.
EMGS Approval Letter generated for the students to enrol for online classes.

Which safety? There’s covid 19 everywhere some places have worse cases than Malaysia. Life has to go on. Some international students are 6-9 hours behind the Malaysian timezone which makes online class hard. Imagine attending a class at 2am. They should be thinking about everyone
