Hi, I am an international student and living out of Malaysia. I need to reconfirm what I have understood so far from the information from different sources:
1. Can dependent (children) travel along after the student gets travel authorization?

Yup, you’ll have to apply for a new VAL if you intend to arrive to malay after the expiry of your current val.

Can you update me what happens to my student visa if im not able to travel to Malaysia current semester? My visa expires in July 2020. Will I need to reapply for VAL via EMGS and go through the same peocedures again?

Is it pre arrival medical test or after arrival, if pre arrival then you need to do it in listed clinic from emgs that you have in your country, just go there and said about it and they will let you know all the procedure and if after arrival here, then your institution will let you know which where and when you need to do medical test
