Greetings, I submitted my val application six days ago but it’s been stuck on 5% ever since. It says “pending approval by institution”. What I don’t understand are:
1. Is it normal to wait that long and still get no progress?
2. When should I make the payment for val?
I asked some people already but their answers were different from each other which make me confused. And when I emailed emgs they say to ask someone here ._. Sorry for the long question btw. And thanks in advance

  Ooo. I think you need to email the institution you applied to study at and ask them about this. Since they’re saying it’s pending approval from the institution.

  Please be informed that the institution is required to approve your online application submission in order for us to initiate the processing of documents. We recommend that you follow up with your institution to approve your online application submission.
  
  With regards to the payment, kindly liaise with your institution as they are required to provide you with the bank account details in order for you to make payment.
