Dear EMGS. Very Good afternoon. I had a query regarding my visa. My visa expired on 27 May 2021. I paid the fees for special pass to progress my visa extension request to EMGS .
Now, as per the latest declaration by the Immigration department students whose passes expired after 2020 don’t need to pay for speacial pass. So in that case will my money be refunded or how?
Kindly guide on the above. Thankyou in advance.

  You are very luck man that emgs post that information to avoid you from overstay actually you ask your institution or email EMGS directly instead post in here

  Hi Ramandeep,
  
  Please be informed that the implementation was effective from the 5th of July 2021. As per checking, special pass has been issued and your passport was returned to the institution on representative on 2nd of July 2021 which is before the announcement. Therefore, no refund for this case will be accepted.
