Dear EMGS. Very Good afternoon. I had a query regarding my visa. My visa expired on 27 May 2021. I paid the fees for special pass to progress my visa extension request to EMGS .

Hi EMGS, my student pass application is stuck at 50% but since my earlier visa expired on 27 May my institute suggested me to apply for a special pass.
Now in the tracking system I m unable to see the progress of my application and it still shows the same progress but according to my institute my special pass is in progress.

Hi,
Please note that your Special Pass application is in progress with the Immigration Department. Once the process has been completed, your institution will collect your passport and resubmit your passport for your renewal application.

Hi Ramandeep,
Please be informed that EMGS Malaysia Immigration Department at Menara TA One will begin accepting passports from 15th June 2021. kindly liaise with your institute and request them to submit the passport at the earliest possible to avoid delay in the processing.

Hi Ramandeep,
Please be informed that the implementation was effective from the 5th of July 2021. As per checking, special pass has been issued and your passport was returned to the institution on representative on 2nd of July 2021 which is before the announcement. Therefore, no refund for this case will be accepted.
