Dear EMGS office, my visa renewal (my pasport number is E3351308) has been stucked at 90% for 2 weeks from 22nd September 2025. May I know if there is any issue with the process? because my visa will expire soon on 21st October 2025.

  Hi Clarissa,
  
  Kindly be informed that your institution opted to obtain the Student Pass directly at the state Immigration Department. As such, your passport was not submitted to EMGS. We advise that you liaise with your institution directly for further assistance on the status of your passport.

Dear EMGS,

I would like to apply for a student visa renewal, but my current visa is valid for only 45 more days. Am I still able to extend my visa in Malaysia under this condition? Would I be eligible for a Special Pass during the renewal process?
