Hello EMGS,

I am planning to apply for a new student visa next month. However, my passport expires on 4th April 2026. I understand that the EMGS requirement is for the passport to have a validity of 18 months or more. Given this, do I need to renew my passport before proceeding with the visa application?

  It is advisable to renew the passport before submitting the student pass application to avoid complications.
