Dear officer, my name is Prizel PIRES and my passport number is:
20DE64298
My passport is going to expire on the 4th
August 2025. I saw that there was an issue with it because it has to expire at least in 18 months or more. I went to remake my French passport today, but they have told me that in France, they can remake my passport only if it expires in 6 months which is not the case with mine, they said they will see if they accept my demand to remake the passport but it is not sure. Is there any other ways to get my visa accepted? As I have to be in Malaysia on the 16th of March 2024 for my semester, is it possible to find a solution please.
I may need an official document mentionning the reason why I need to remake my passport.

  Kindly be informed that Immigration requires passport validity of 18 months and above. Kindly note that your passport will expire on 04/08/2025 which means its validity is less than 18 months. Therefore, the student is recommended to extend the passport validity or apply for a new passport and submit the passport copy to EMGS in order for us to process accordingly.
