No you can’t come to malaysia before 1-2 weeks before the intake date it must be written on your offer letter! So if your intake is on 25th feb you can come on 14,15,16,17,18 feb as the immigration counter on the airport gives you a pass for a month and it’s better you travel within feb near to your intake!

It is advisable that you follow your institution’s advice, as you will risk overstaying your entry visa if the institution does not apply for an extension since your intake is around February.

It takes minimum 7 to 12days for the process to complete. Wait some days.

The VAL approval process takes approximately 7-10 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

Dear EMGS,
It was said on 13th December that it would take 7-10 working days, still saying the same thing today on 21th December.
What does it mean?-
@sayma_1 the 7-10 working days do not include weekends and public holidays.
