I think you need to apply for a new val. Once you leave Malaysia without your student pass, your val is cancel automatically, unless you enter as tourist last time.

It depends, if you submit all required documents on time, then I think should not more than 30 days.

Posting here won’t help. It’s likely you will get rejected if your CGPA is lower than 2.0

If you have given the supporting letter, perhaps you can extend ur student visa, it depends on immigration.

Yup you have to write explanation letter along with study plan for next semester with your study advisor if you have difficulties in studying.

If your CGPA is below 2.0, there is a chance your visa renewal will get rejected. You will need to write an explanation letter.

7-10 working days for the issuance of the VAL by immigration. Could take longer if they require additional correction/documents.

Yes the rejection possibility still there after submit to immigration. But rest assured that EMGS has done their part to vet the documents before they submit to immigration to minimize rejection. But still can get rejected even after emgs submit it. So fingers crossed.

Rejection at this stage is rare for new applicant. Only if you have immigration issues like overstaying, change university without release letter, having an active application in their system etc

hello there, my record has been created on 10th id December 2018, and on 24th it showed 15% green till now, so how long do I need to wait for next update!? I hope my paperworks are OK.

If your documents are correct it shouldn’t delay for next step.
U can email to emgs.
Or contact with ur university.-
My processing was delayed because contact information of my passport was not very clear.
On that issue I mailed several times to emgs and Visa unit also.-

If you are a new student then it would take 4 weeks to process. I got my passport after 15 working days from when EMGS received it.
Wait 7 days
Hi Samsul,
The application tracker will show you if your passport has been submitted to EMGS. The issuance of a Student Pass will take approximately 14 working days upon receipt.
