I already got my student pass with me. Thank you so much, but, one question I want to ask. how to get an iKad?

You have to download through EMGS website by PC/laptop

From my experience, it took 14 working days if it is got no issues. You can track the progress on profile menu

You need to apply SEV in your home country before you fly to malaysia. Usually your institution will give you information about the actual date you have to come to malaysia after you recieved VAL. But make sure you apply SEV first

I had the same issues before but mine took 9 days to get my VAL from 15% but it depends on the immigration department and your documents. If all your documents meet requirements you don’t need to wait for long time

You can pay at the Bank and they will convert from IDR (if you transfer with IDR) to MYR.

You can make a new photo at photo studio. Make sure your new photo meet all requirements

Good morning EMGS Officer,
I’m Niya from Indonesia
I want to ask, is it possible if I go to Malaysia once AFTER I receive VAL and BEFORE make SEV? I want to look accommodation for me during my studies in Malaysia.
Please give me an advise

It is advisable that you enter Malaysia with the VAL and SEV. We advise that you liaise with your institution directly for further assistance with regard to this matter.
