Dear EMGS

Hope you doing well and smoothly during these critical days.

I am from pakistan and I got admission in PhD law program at IIUM.
Today i paid my admission along with all other fees.
During online enrolment i was asked about my VAL?
My husband who is also a PhD student at IIUM have applied for renewal but the process is not resuming as Pakistan is in banned countries list. I want to know about my VAl? Should i apply for it and will EMGS process it or inhave to wait till Pakistan is out of the banned countries list?

  Hi Nagina,
  
  Pakistani students can still apply for a student visa. However, due to the travel ban, the applications will be put on hold until the travel ban is lifted.

    Thanks for the kind response.
    
    What will i do now in case of non issuance of VAL? My uni requires VAL for enrolment and this might be same with other malaysian universities just like my uni which is IIUM.
    Kindly guide me with the situation and let me know about any remedy available to me or any student from other uni.
