But the (UKM) University told me that I have just one month after the student pass expired, which made me confused about that.

Dear EMGS officer,
I made an application of renewal student pass as current pass will expire at 25 august, and ratio of EMGS now is 50%, and the EMGS waiting me to submit my passport. Now I am overseas of Malaysia, so my question is how much time I have to enter Malaysia and submit my passport after date of current pass expire?

  Kindly be informed that you are required to enter Malaysia within 3 months after the student visa has expired to continue your renewal student visa process.
