Thank you shakirat for the response. The e-visa is out already. My school supports bringing in dependents. The issue now is with the Malaysia embassy in Nigeria who rejected the social visit of the infants asking that I most get into Malaysia first, get a student visa pass before applying for the social visit for the infant. I can’t leave 3months…[Read more]

I’m not sure there’s any other way. Except you ask your school for help. I also have a 5months old and my institution says I can only bring in dependant after 3months of being a student. It’s so pathetic that such rules are in place and no exception is made given the circumstances of one’s reality especially as an international student.
It is…[Read more]

I want to come as a new student, I got my evisa. But I have an infant of 3month old, how do I come with the infant since I can’t get dependent pass for him, as I am also yet to get my student pass? My country’s Malaysia embassy rejected the social/tourist e-visa I applied for the infant asking me to attach student pass before I can apply, which I…[Read more]

What’s your school position on bringing in dependant? It’s a good thing you can apply for the baby through social visit. Just pray your evisa comes out soon and then reapply by attaching it. Best wishes.
How long have you applied for the student pass?

Thank you, but the policy is not friendly at all.

Honestly! But do we have a choice? Somebody has to speak up in that regard. You’re welcome.

I see… so I have to send it through my institution, even if I have uploaded the reciept myself?
-
Yes bro. They don’t accept payment from student, it has to be through your institution. Hence, if they need additional documents then u can send them, but for the payment ur institution has to send them
-
thanks a lot 🙂 it’s just weird cuz i thought i’d get notified by my uni about something like that but i didn’t so i was just left wondering

Evisa you mean single entry visa? You can check the Malaysian visa website to see if your country is eligible
-
No please. E-visa is a new type of visa application where you apply online and get your visa online. No manual submission to embassy, and my country is among those to apply through e-visa. So i am asking what are the required documents for dependent application if any body has also applied and gotten too.
-
Yes it’s entry visa but online instead of going to embassy, you can open Malaysian visa website they mention what are the documents required
-
-
-
Bro I think the required documents differ depending on your university. On my personal case they asked some medical condition cleration document which have to do done my me and my passport, my instruction certificate and 35 mm to 45 mm photo and the payment proof for E val. I think it was all on me bro. The best way just talk with your uni bro…[Read more]
