السلام عليكم حبيبنا مهند .
ما انصحك ابدا ان تتقدم للفيزة في هذه المدة الوجيزة , الاجراءات مملة ضحلة جدا تستنزف وقتا اطول . الايفال بحد ذاته يحتاج الى عدة اسابيع ..

في الحقيقة الجامعة صدمتنا بخبر مفاجئ بعدم تجديد فيز الطلاب المنتهية خارج ماليزيا كما كان يعمل بالسابق بقرار صدر في فترة الجائحة. فوضعونا أمام أمرين، إما إصدار ايفال جديد تأخيره قد يتسبب بتأجيل السمستر أو القدوم بفيزا مفردة ومحاولة التجديد حسب القرار القديم مما يحتمل الرفض أو القبول. دعواتك تتيسر-

You may refer to your Institution pertaining to the submission of the visa application. Kindly take note that there is no exact time frame for the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) issuance and the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

For the visa application, the student is only allowed to choose the current year of intake and not the backdated year.

My year of intake is 2019, what should I choose to make a new VAL?

One month full process with two times submitting additional documents.

Renewal should be at least before 3 months of expiration date, your pass already expired so you need new one.
That’s why you can never find intake year option because you need to start new application.-
Try calling or emailing them, they will tell you new application but will give you guidelines

No it means you have to start everything again with emgs.
You can never obtain student pass while you stay in the country whether legally or illegally

Difinitely u need a new visa but the question is what document should u provide? I highly reccommend u to email FS investigating

Starting a new application means I will have to pay the fees again and wait for 2-3 weeks? Or I can enter using SEV and let my university renew it for me? Thanks guys

No it means you have to start everything again with emgs.

So renewing my expired student pass is not an option? My records are active in the university btw.
Anyway, when I apply now it asks me to enter year of intake with the options (2023-24-25) but my year is 2019.

Actually my Visa expired during the pandemic that’s why I couldn’t renew it. Anyway I already contacted them. My semester will start after 6 weeks and I’m afraid that the process will take longer.
