Dear @emgs, I have arrived in Malaysia. I have to submit Insurance Cover Note to Universiti Malaya. I paid for EFTB to EMGS during application. How can I get this insurance cover note? Also, my application says Medical screening at Qualitas Panel Clinics. Can I go to any clinic listed on emgs or only the named Qualitas clinic?

As you purchased EMGS insurance, you may not be required to submit the insurance cover note to your institution. Therefore, kindly refer to your institution for further clarification on this matter.

How many did it take you to get e visa?

On the evisa it shows it was processed in 1 working day, but I received it on the 9th working day.

No i am not yet . I am in now application stage my proccesing is locked on 15%

if u are using mobile,then open it in any browser in desktop mode,then u will find an interface,where you will see ” I’m new” apply,go to this link.then put your info and registered.rest you will understand when go through.

Check the FAQ first, if you meet the requirement then click ‘I’m new Apply’ to start the application.

Please be advised that currently, EMGS is awaiting the submission of your passport from the institute in order for us to initiate the student visa issuance. As such, kindly liaise with your institute and request them to submit the passport at the earliest possible to avoid delay in the processing.

Dear @EMGS, thank you for getting back to me. I have checked with Universiti Malaya, the passport has been submitted to EMGS and the status is now 85%. Please kindly expedite the process. Appreciate your assistance so I can have my passport back and open the bank account urgently before 2 November. Thank you in advance.
