Hi EMGS Officer,
I am a new international student I sent an e-mail to my institution telling them to advise me on what to do because I am considering deferring the admission to semester 2 due to the entry ban and the pandemic but instead of advising they sent me a letter of approval of deferment. I hope tho won’t affect my val that is already in progress 32%

  The application is pending submission to the Immigration Department. We are unable to confirm if the deferment will have an impact on the application, as the approval to issue the VAL is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
