Not exactly. What I mean is once EMGS notifies my university to collect my passport, they will get it for me on the same day or within 24 hours but they cannot do so until they receive the notification that passport is ready for collection. It is too bad that this time I need it urgently, yet the delay has also occured this time. It would be unfortunate if I miss my conference presentation because of something out of my control. I am sure EMGS will not also want this to happen.

It took 29 days…almost a month to move from 80% to 90%. It is only this year that I am facing this delay. In previous times, it took about 14 days or less.

Yes for renewal it takes around 1 month after it gets submitted to immigration ap kuch bhi nahi karsakte immigration ke rules hain ye!

Well, I did ask my university. They said they have not been notified to collect it. Unless they get the notification, they cannot collect it. They can collect it within 24hours of the notification.

My case number is CASE:1037796. The reply I got was that the EMGS will only expedite if the process takes longer than the…[Read more]-
