Hi, Mustapha Salihu.
After the eVAL is approved, the student needs to obtain a Single Entry Visa (SEV) if the student is from SEV Required Countries. You can refer to this link https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/guidelines/sev-required-countries for further reference. The student also is required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) as early as 3 days before arrival or at the latest upon arrival through the Immigration Department website. You will receive the link once you obtain the Visa Approval Letter (VAL). You are required as well to fill up the Pre-Arrival form on the EMGS Mobile App three (3) days before your arrival in Malaysia. Lastly, please inform your institution as they may need to make necessary arrangements upon your arrival at the airport. At the airport, don’t forget to tell the Immigration Officer you are an international student and present your MDAC registration. They will ensure your passport is stamped with a Special Pass. Before leaving the Immigration Counters, make sure to check your passport. You should see a Special Pass stamped on it. Within seven days of landing in Malaysia, it is mandatory to complete your medical check-up at the respective clinic. After all of the above is done, you may proceed with the student pass endorsement.
Have a good day.
