Hi, I want to apply for dependant pass for my son and spouse. Should I apply it right after receiving my stamped passport or after a semester or so? Please guide me what would be the best time to do so. Also is it good for the spouse and son to be in Malaysia when I apply it or should I apply when they are back at home in Pakistan?

  Hi Momin,
  
  You can only apply for the Dependent Passes after your Student Pass has been endorsed by the Immigration Department. However, you are required to be studying a Master’s Degree and above. Kindly note that the applications can be submitted whilst your family is in Malaysia on Social Visas. However, the approval to issue the Dependent Passes is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

      @momin_4 There is no specific time-frame for the processing of Dependent Pass applications. However, the endorsement of the pass will take approximately 14 working days, The approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
