If you have cancelled your previous val and not have overstayed your visa then you reapply with new application

Otherwise if you haven’t cancelled your VAL ask your previous institution to cancel your VAL it will take around a month or 2 months to cancel VAL so do it as soon as possible

You can only renew the Student Pass if the current pass is still valid. If the pass was canceled before you exited Malaysia or has expired, you are required to apply for a new VAL. Kindly liaise with your institution directly for further assistance.
