The issuance of student passes depends on the discretion of the Immigration Department. However, for the student pass renewal, the student is required to be in Malaysia, as we require a physical passport to extend the student pass.

Please be informed that the Student Pass endorsement process takes 14 working days from the date we submit the Passport to the Immigration Department. However the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. Once the student pass issued, we will process the ikad accordingly.

Student pass issuance is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. If you are an existing student, you are required to renew the student pass prior to its expiration.

Once the Immigration Department approved the VAL, the student may liaise with the Malaysian Embassy in your country, to obtain the Single Entry Visa (SEV).

However, if you are from a country that does not require the SEV you can proceed to arrange for your travel to Malaysia.
