Dear EMGS officer
I submitted my passport for visa stamping on 13 July and my EMGS account is showing 100 % since 20 July, and till now I did not received my passport back. Where as others who have submitted the passport on the same day which I have submitted they have already received their passport. Please let me know what is the reason for…[Read more] -

Hi Mohammad Khamruddin,
You are required to obtain the E-Visa or Single Entry Visa by using the new EVAL as the previous EVAL is expired. Kindly ensure to have a valid VAL and Single Entry Visa (SEV) to enter Malaysia.

No be careful.
eVal is valid for 6 months, if you don’t enter Malaysia before it ends it will be cancelled and you have to apply again for new one and pay again.
Visa is also valid for 3 months only.-

If I want to apply for new EVAL can I do so immediately after the expiry or is there any procedure to cancel the old one.

Eval is the document which you get from emgs at 70% and valid till 6 months of date of issue
Then you apply to single entry visa or evisa depending on your nationality, check Malaysian visa official website
Once you have eval + visa (and university necessary documents) , you can book a flight to Malaysia

Yes I have eval and Visa.
I have to enter Malasiya before EVAL expiry or I can go after expiry also. Because my EVAL is expiring in May and I am planning to go in July I can do so?-

Visa you mean eval?
You should have eval and entry visa both-
Eval should be valid, mean to say that we have to enter before the expiry of eval or just the document is enough.

Go to education malaysia application status login using your passport number and nationality and from there you can track application and download emgs also check your email my institution send me emgs on email

Hi Mohammad Khamruddin,
Your institution opted to obtain the Student Pass directly at the state Immigration Department. As such, your passport was not submitted to EMGS. We advise that you liaise with your institution directly for further assistance on the status of your passport.
