For that you need to contact your international student unit at your university, and they will send an email to EMGS with your new scanned passport that has been stamped and signed by the university. That was what I did

As mentioned previously, every application is processed accordingly. We are unable to provide you with an exact time frame as there is no stipulated time frame for the VAL extension process. Furthermore, the approval is at Immigration’s discretion.

It’s showing that it has sent to the immigration for correction. Due to the lockdown, the immigration is working very slowly. Hope you will get your VAL soon InshaAllah!
