The requirement to exit the country or remain in Malaysia during the application process is depending on the type of institution you are transferring to. Kindly advise us the institution that you are currently enrolled in along with the institution you are intending to transfer to. This will enable us to advise you accordingly.

I am studying at Utara university of Malaysia .I’m just going to change the program to the same university.i will study same institution, but i will change programme, for example i will change bachelor of public management to bachelor of busniss administrsion,institution same. thank you-
@maxamuud_1 If you are changing your program before completing the current course, then you can remain in Malaysia during the processing of the application. However, if the Immigration Department requests an exit stamp, you will be required to exit Malaysia.

@maxamuud_1 Applicants from Somalia do not require the Single Entry Visa (SEV) to enter Malaysia. As such, you can proceed to arrange for your travel to Malaysia.

@maxamuud_1 If you are from a country that requires a Single Entry Visa (SEV) to enter Malaysia you are required to proceed to the Malaysian Embassy in your home country and apply for the SEV upon receipt of the eVAL.
However, if you are from a country that does not require the SEV you can proceed to arrange for your travel to Malaysia.

After you entering Malaysia and get the Student Pass will be 100%

Hi Maxamuud,
Your VAL was already approved on the 23rd of November. The application is at 80% as we require some additional details. However, these details will only be submitted after you have arrived in Malaysia. In the mean-time, you can disregard your application status. Kindly liaise with your institution for more details.
